Heart rate variability and resting heart rate tracking
Praxis One tracks heart rate variability (HRV) and resting heart rate from Apple Watch, Whoop, and other wearables, then turns them into a daily recovery score against your own baseline.
Heart rate variability is the gap between heartbeats, and the trend of that number against your own baseline is one of the best signals of how recovered you are. Resting heart rate is the simpler cousin: a rise of several beats over a few mornings usually means stress, illness, or too much training. Praxis One shows both as trends, not just today’s number.
Data comes from Apple Watch via Apple Health, from Whoop through its direct API, or from any device that writes to Apple Health or Health Connect. The recovery score weighs HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep so you get one answer in the morning instead of three charts.
This is training guidance. HRV and heart rate trends are not a diagnosis and do not replace a clinician.
